And now for something completely different

Friday, September 28th, 2007

Congratulations to Cameron Reilly, CEO of  The Podcast Network, on the news that John Cleese (that John Cleese) will be hosting his podcast with them.

John Cleese is to release Headcast, a series of online videos, which he describes as “some humorous, some more thoughtful, giving me a chance to sound off in my old age.”

A free version will be made on The Podcast Network, which John says is “rather good, run by Australians, and none the worse for that.”
The Podcast Network is an Australian privately owned media company with over 80 audio and video podcasts in production and a monthly international audience of over half a million people.

Congrats to Cameron.

A new look norg

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

It’s been a busy couple of months working on the new look and design for the norg. And while the new site looks great, we spent a lot of time improving the user-interface and news experience for our users.

We’ve tried to simplify everything from sign up, to voting and editing your stories - so let us know what we have got right and what we still need to work on.

When you file a story now your votes are recorded automatically, and when you vote you should notice the votes increase straight away.

A big thanks to Myles Eftos for all his work.

Hope to see you round the Norg.
